I-35W between Minneapolis, Roseville closing Aug. 10-13
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Interstate 35W between Minneapolis and Roseville will encounter a detour beginning Friday, Aug. 10 at 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, weather permitting.
Northbound and southbound I-35W will be closing between Fourth Street Southeast in Minneapolis and Highway 36 in Roseville for road resurfacing.
Westbound Highway 36 to southbound Highway 280 will remain open, but westbound Highway 36 to northbound I-35W will be closed.
Southbound I-35W motorists will have access to southbound Highway 280 and can continue on to I-94. However, motorists will not be able to access northbound Highway 280 from I-94. Northbound Highway 280 will remain open to local traffic only from University Avenue to Larpenteur Avenue. Access to and from I-35W between I-694 in Arden Hills/New Brighton and County Road C in Roseville also will remain open.
Motorists will be detoured around the closure via I-694, I-35E and I-94.
