I-35E lane closures in St. Paul scheduled for the week of June 12
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter periodic lane closures on I-35E between I-94 and Maryland Avenue in St. Paul throughout the week of June 12, weather permitting.
The lane closures will vary throughout the week and are expected to occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Crews will close one lane at a time, starting with the left lane of northbound I-35E and then the southbound left lane, for work in the median. After work in the median has been completed, crews will move to the shoulders and closures of the right lane will occur periodically in each direction.
The lane closures are needed for storm sewer cleaning as part of the I-35E Cayuga project. The
I-35E Cayuga project reconstructed I-35E between University Avenue and Maryland Avenue, including replacement of the Cayuga Bridge, the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge and the railroad bridges along I-35E.
