Hwy 47/St. Francis Boulevard south of St. Francis closed Sunday, May 21 for culvert replacement

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Highway 47 south of St. Francis will close and be detoured Sunday, May 21 to replace three deteriorated culverts beneath the roadway. The roadway will be closed from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. between Norris Lake Road (Anoka County Road 24) and Viking Boulevard (Anoka County Road 22).

While the road is closed, motorists should follow the signed detour using Viking Boulevard, Anoka County Road 66 (Cleary Road) and Norris Lake
Road to bypass the closure. Local traffic will be allowed to reach homes on each side of the closure.

Repairs are expected to be finished and the highway will reopen by 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 21.
