Open house set Feb. 13 for the new Fifth Street SE pedestrian bridge spanning Interstate 35W in Minneapolis
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an open house to learn about the new proposed Fifth St. SE pedestrian bridge over Interstate 35W in Minneapolis. The construction of the new pedestrian bridge is tentatively scheduled for 2018.
The open house will be held on Monday, Feb. 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 500 8th Ave. SE in Minneapolis.
Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and project staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on the two proposed pedestrian bridge designs. The public also will be able to comment on the project. There will be no formal presentation.
