Hwy 7 project completion date and detour extended to September 22
WILLMAR, Minn. — The Highway 7 project started Monday, June 12. The project includes the resurfacing of Highway 7 from the intersection of US 71/Highway 7 to Clara City (16.4 miles). Due to the extensive resurfacing work the project requires a detour. A map of the current detour is below. The detour was scheduled to be removed September 1, but will be extended to September 22.

MnDOT asks motorists to slow down and pay attention while driving through work zones. Motorists who speed through a work zone or who disobey work zone flaggers face a $300 fine.
