I-90 Sherburn to Fairmont construction set for completion Friday
MANKTO, Minn. – Weather permitting, the Interstate 90 project from Sherburn to Fairmont should be complete and open to four-lanes of traffic by Friday, August 18.
Motorists can expect one lane in each direction and the Martin County Road 39 westbound ramp to open by Tuesday, August 15.
MnDOT thanks all the area motorists for their patience during this project that included four different stages of construction since May.
The project included resurfacing the westbound lanes between Sherburn and Fairmont and the eastbound lanes for about a mile west of Fairmont. Four bridges were repaired and lighting replaced. Ulland Brothers, Inc. of Albert Lea was awarded the project with a bid of $7,392,429.
