Rochester lane closures planned at Hwy 52 and Second St., Sixth St. SW for concrete repairs
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists on Second Street and Sixth Street Southwest in Rochester will encounter lane closures today, Oct. 18 and Thursday, Oct. 19 as crews repair concrete on bridge decks and driving lanes at the Highway 52 interchanges, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Left turn lanes and lanes on ramps will be closed at varying times Oct. 18 on Second Street Southwest at Hwy 52. Work is expected to be completed by noon. Work was expected to begin about 9 a.m.
On Thursday, lane closures on the northbound Hwy 52 ramp at Sixth Street Southwest and on Sixth Street will take place after the morning commuting time.
Crews will be completing concrete repairs in specific areas of the lanes. The lane closures are to maintain safety for motorists and the workers.
