Lane closures on Hwy 44 in Hokah for resurfacing project
HOKAH, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 44 in Hokah, you will encounter lane closures beginning Friday, June 9 as crews begin milling and paving work in town, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Traffic delays are possible as the machinery moves through Hokah on Highway 44 Friday and possibly Saturday.
In May, crews were doing ADA work on sidewalks and ramps in Hokah and culvert and storm sewer repairs around La Crescent.
Mathy Construction is the prime contractor on this $2.4 million project. Work is scheduled to be completed in mid-July.
